Very special thanks go out to everyone who requested I record this album of "popular requests." The title "Pianoforte" is the original name of the piano, meaning "soft-loud" (in contrast to the harpsichord, which only played at one volume) and the Opus 1, as in the movies, leaves open the possibility for a sequel! Many thanks also go to my friends and musical colleagues Gene Nery and Reed Ruddy, to Bill Wallis for keeping the piano sounding great, and as always, to my family Jaylin, Kawika, Jenole, and Cara for their  love and support.
