This collection represents some of Christopher's favorite music which has appeared in film. Some songs appearing on this album were popular even before appearing in a film, others became popular because of a film. In either case, Christopher's piano sets a tone for memorable movie magic.

Music and film have gone hand in hand since the invention of the motion picture. In the early 1900’s, movie houses across the country had pianos to set a tone for the images on the silent screen. Today, film music ranges from original music scored specifically for a film, to popular music, not intended for a film at all, but adapted to the film.  This marriage of sight and sound is the entertainment magic we call motion pictures.  Pianoforte Opus 3 is some of my favorite music which has appeared in film .  . . some songs which were popular even before appearing in film, others which became popular because of a film.  In either case, the piano continues to set a tone for memorable movie magic! – Christopher Peacock
